DAY 2 - Rise before dawn. Coffee and breakfast and into your boat. You are off to Johnstone Strait, the summering grounds of the Orca [Killer Whale]. Cruise the area observing pods of these magnificent mammals and with a little luck you'll get to see their cousins, the Minke and Humpback Whales. Another day of diving Bald Eagles, Seals, and the shoreline wildlife, including Black Bears.
After a beach or boat picnic lunch there's more exploring, perhaps a little fishing, and then off to a native potlatch celebration featuring local dancers in a "Big House". This is followed by a traditional salmon barbecued salmon feast. Home to bed.
