Steelhead Adventures

The Kakweiken is one of British Columbia's major Steelhead rivers. The main run occurs in early April through to the end of May. During the height of the run, we will give our steelheaders an opportunity to enjoy the thrills of playing one of the world's greatest fighting fish. A typical day would be similar to a summer trip, but with more hours on the river and no ocean fishing. The Kakweiken is an excellent river for both fly and spin fishing. All steelhead are wild - stock which makes them the very best fighters. Because they are wild it is a catch and release trip. However, you can take home a limit of pictures and memories.Your guide, Trapper Rick, knows all the pools and riffles where the fish hide, the best lures and flies to use, and he will make sure all your arrangements are complete for a successful trip!
